i'm erin, a (mostly-print, semi-illustrative, sometimes-web, could-design-you-something-out-of-cake-if-you-asked-me-to) graphic designer based in los angeles. i work with my clients to establish a visual voice for their brand, creating and cultivating an emotional connection with their audience. the following is a collection of my design work.
when my mom walked into her bedroom one day to find that her eighteen-month-old daughter had organized her chaotic jewelry box by color, shape and size in a meticulous line across the floor, she probably should have known that i'd grow up to be either obsessive compulsive, or a graphic designer. by age thirteen when i taught myself hand-HTML coding and created my first website, she should probably have been concerned that i'd grow up to be either hopelessly nerdy, or a graphic designer.
the good news is that while she may have been right about all three, between my self-taught beginnings, my formal design education and years of experience, i've managed to turn my lifelong passion of visually organizing information into a career. i'm continually fascinated by the ties between graphic design and fashion, fine art, styling, music and the world around us in general; and have a particular fondness for tactile design sensibilities and vintage-inspired typography.
when i'm not in front of a sketchbook or piece of mac technology i also love running, baking, weightlifting, crafts, live music and my two (furry) daughters, fiona and delilah.
